M
idnight Society & SoundGroove Records would like to thank everyone at attendance for our live set at Circus Afterhours for this year's Black & Blue in Montrˆ©al. Special thanks are in order to Gaetan Vaudry, Eddy Jasmin & Luke Native for making this happen. A complete playlist, with selected portions of the set are now available for a limited time by clicking on the link below. Due to the exclusiveness of certain tracks played that evening, selected parts of the audio were intentionally stuttered. The occurences are very intermittent and do not detract from the strength or flow of the mix. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience.

Back in the USA, Mainframe continues every Wednesday at Club Alibi in New York with resident DJs Midnight Society & rotating residents Bass Rokwell & BJ Murray. Music begins promptly at 10:00pm and there's no cover. Special guest DJs appear on the regular, some of which are featured in our exclusive Mainframe: Digital Podcast. We also would like to take the time to announce our first release for the Fall Season. Midnight Society's Curtis Atchison, along with Xenon, Keven Maroda & Jade Elektra team up to create"The B!tch EP", a compilation of dark & dirty grooves with equally dark & dirty vocals. Making its way to digital download sites very soon. As always, thanks for your support!

Welcome to the all new SoundGroove Records website! We have been working very hard on a new look and design for the last few months and are proud to bring you our latest audio & visual creations. You'll find it easier than ever to get the latest news, sound bits and everything else from New York's Premiere digital download label. WIth that said, let's get up to date with all of our latest news.

Since our last update on our previous site, we have released two new hits with "Drum Nation" and "Meow (Push It)" with DJ/Producer Erik Reyes & Joey Alvarado and Lula, the legendary vocalist from the speaker. Both of those records have done extremely well on Beatport & TrackingSpain and are featured on compilations on Centaur Recordings from DJ/Producer DeMarko! and an upcoming CD from DJ/Producers Mike Cruz & Roland Belarmes. Now with summer drawing to a close, we look forward to our first two release of the new season. The first is The B!tch EP, a campy collection of peak hour, tribal/progressive house tracks with wild & suggestive lyrics guaranteed to drive the dance floors crazy. DJ/Producers Keven Maroda, Xenon & Midnight Society step forward with a total of four peak hour tracks, which also include the long awaited second collaboration with Midnight Society & Jade Elektra. The second release finds us going overseas with our first ever artist from Isreal. DJ/Producer Mickiyagi conjures up a playfully naughty trip through dirty house music with vocalist Orly Weinerman on a new single called "If You Like". New interpretations from Jordan Schultz, Thomas Penton, Lorant, Koroush & Midnight Society make this single even more dance floor friendly for all the Electro, Tribal & Progressive fans. Both of these singles will be heading your way in early October.

Speaking of which, fans of SoundGroove Records & Midnight Society will be pleased to know that we will be making their first appearance at the legendary Black & Blue Ball in Montreal on October 5th, as Midnight Society will be playing alongside Luke Native & DJ/Producer Eddy Jasmin at Circus for the Leather Ball Afterhours Party. Music starts promptly at 1:00AM and tickets are only $25. For more information on this party and to download a flyer, check out our playdates page.

Be on the lookout for our next SoundGroove Sessions podcast, which will be a special, extended 3 hour show featuring music from DJ/Producer Alex Cohen from Washington DC and New York's own Annex, coming you way in just a few more days. We are also making plans for our very first digital compilation for SoundGroove Records which will feature some of the very best music from our first two years of operation as well as a couple of newbies you may have never heard of before. All this and more are in the works for SoundGroove Records throughout the month of Fall, so feel free to sign up for our mailing list to get all the latest information as it happens. In the meantime, be sure to visit us on MySpace where you'll find a lot of news articles, graphics & more.
